Welcome to whitetail deer hunting at Long Creek! The 2001 season has enjoyed an overall 63% success rate. We are careful to spread hunters out to give each person plenty of uncrowded space, and we rotate hunting areas to avoid over-pressure. Long Creek is located in west central Illinois, a 3
hour drive from St. Louis, MO or 4 hours from Chicago, IL. The Burlington,
IA and Quincy, IL regional airports are each located 45 minutes away.
This 8 point buck was an archery harvest taken by Lee Brown. It weighed in at 270 lbs -- and darn near tipped the 4-wheeler over. The rack green scored over 144.

| All of the land we own and lease is prime Illinois farmland criss-crossed with fields of corn and soybean, ponds, and Long Creek. Grain-fed deer, turkey, and upland game abound. in at 215 lbs, on a cold November morning.
The hunting area's many ridges, hollows, creeks, and ponds create an ideal habitat for deer, turkey, and other upland game. Crops of corn and soybeans provide the excellent nutrition required for the growth of that big buck's strong antlers. |

Several deer remained elusive. None of the sheds we picked up last spring match the fall harvest. The G-3 on this shed is over 15 inches. |
